Planning an efficient city in Bronze Age can be easier than in later ages because there are a smaller number of possible building sizes and options. However, the limited space typical of Bronze Age cities presents considerable challenges.
In early ages or before obtaining a fair amount of great buildings, placing the town hall in the top right corner of the map is typically the most efficient arrangement.
Keep in mind these design principles:
Move the town hall to the top corner of the map; this will make the rest of your design easier
Align same-sized and similarly-sized buildings with each other. For instance, place Chalets and Blacksmiths together in rows to avoid creating unnecessary corners
